Georgia Clare

I’m Georgia Clare. I’m a fine art photographer from the UK, living in the fabulously beautiful south west of France and I’ve been photographing the beauty of Europe and Asia for the last 16 years.
I'm as excited about travel as I am about photography, for me the two go hand in hand. 

When I'm in France I'm renovating an old village house, drinking local wine... eating local cheese...(perks of living in the SW!) reading and adding to my book collection (obssesion!), practising yoga and walking in the forest at the back of my house... oh and constantly taking photographs! In between that, I whizz back to the UK to photograph beautiful hotels and restaurants and some luxury real estate (www.gcfowler.com) and of course the fabulous countryside of England and Wales. 

I love capturing a beautiful landscape or impressive architecture in cities, towns and villages. I am most at home photographing beaches, any time of day and any place will do! An early morning or sunset is my favourite.
I use professional Canon DSLR’s with a full range of lenses. I enjoy working in my ‘digital darkroom’ using Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop to reproduce what I felt and saw when the capture was made and to make the photographs ideal for printing.

HOWEVER...One of my main motivations for what I do with my photography is to raise money and awareness for an AMAZING organisation called UNSTOPPABLE. Being a mother myself I believe very strongly that it is the right of every child in the world to have an education, something that I took for granted when my own daughters were starting school. The Unstoppable Foundation is making this possible with a unique and holistic 5 pillar system that is not only changing lives but more importantly saving lives. "It’s not charity, it’s empowerment".
